Do you need a roof access permit? +

Not for the cleaning task. The crew works from the ground, so roof entry, fall-arrest and the permits that go with them are removed from the scope.

Does soft washing just remove the stain, or the growth? +

Soft washing treats the biological growth itself rather than blasting away the surface layer. That extends the interval before the next clean.

Can you clean the roof while the site is operating? +

Usually, yes. Nobody goes onto the roof, so there is no roof entry permit, no height safety mobilisation and generally no production pause. Flight paths and the ground exclusion zone are agreed with your site team so loading docks and forklift routes keep moving.

Do you need approval to fly over our site? +

Sometimes. Some sites sit within controlled airspace or near a hospital helipad, and some border busy roads or neighbouring properties that need their own controls. We assess all of this at scoping and arrange any authorisation before works are booked.
