Commercial · Government · Strata — Gold Coast, Brisbane & South East Queensland
The exterior surfaces that most need maintenance are the ones that are hardest and most dangerous to reach. Historically the only answer has been to put a person up there — on a ladder, a rope, a scaffold or an elevated work platform — and manage the consequences with permits, harnesses and supervision.
That approach carries three costs an asset owner feels directly: the safety exposure, the price of the access equipment itself, and the disruption to the building while it is in place. On a commercial or government site, the access can easily cost more than the cleaning.
Altitude was established to deliver the same maintenance outcome without any of the three. The aircraft goes up; nobody else does. We are a single-discipline specialist — this is all we do, and we would rather tell you a site does not suit the method than take on work we cannot deliver well.
Local
Gold Coast based and owner-operated. You deal with the person flying the job.
Specialist
Drone-delivered exterior maintenance only. No subcontracted trades bolted on.
Documented
Every engagement evidenced from SWMS through to completion report.
Equipment
A purpose-built heavy-lift spray platform — not a camera drone adapted for the task.
A hexacopter configuration carries motor redundancy. Loss of a single motor in flight leaves the aircraft controllable and recoverable — a material consideration when operating above an occupied building or a public thoroughfare.
Stiff and light, so lifting capacity goes into carrying solution rather than structure. Folding arms and props allow deployment into constrained side setbacks, courtyards and plant areas that an EWP cannot enter.
Nozzles deliver an even fan at a controlled rate and standoff distance. The cleaning is done by chemistry and dwell time rather than impact pressure, which is what makes the method safe on sealed joints, coatings and aged substrates.
Remote pilot on the controls, dedicated observer maintaining watch on the aircraft and the ground beneath it. We do not operate single-crewed on commercial sites.
Pricing is agreed against a defined scope before mobilisation. No day-rate creep and no variations raised on site for work that was visible at scoping.
The person who quotes your job is the person who flies it. Nothing is handed to a subcontractor you have not met and cannot hold to account.
If a site is unsuitable, in restricted airspace, or better served by another trade, we say so before you commit — not after we have mobilised.
Every job closes with photographic evidence per elevation. You should not have to take a contractor's word for what happened three storeys up.
Governance
Drone cleaning is aviation work carried out on a commercial site. It is governed by both Civil Aviation Safety Authority rules and Queensland work health and safety obligations, and we operate to both.
Flights conducted under Civil Aviation Safety Authority regulations, with airspace assessed and authorisations obtained per site.
Every job flown by a certified remote pilot with a dedicated observer — never a single-person operation on a commercial site.
Site-specific SWMS, risk assessment, ground exclusion zones and stakeholder notification, issued before mobilisation for your records.
Public liability and aviation cover maintained, with certificates of currency supplied on request or with tender responses.
Whether it is a single building or an estate, we will scope it honestly and price it fixed.
